Screw Drivers Island Map
A whole island to explore — treasures, colors, and secrets await.
Screw Drivers takes place on a detailed island environment with diverse terrain, hidden collectibles, and secrets scattered across its landscape. The island is the setting for career mode races, free exploration, and treasure hunting. Understanding the map layout helps you find everything the game has to offer.
Island overview
The main island features varied terrain: paved roads, dirt paths, rocky hills, beaches, forests, and elevated plateaus. Each area has its own character and challenges. The terrain variety is what makes vehicle building interesting — a car that handles paved roads perfectly may struggle on the rocky interior.
Starting locations are spread across the island, and discovering them unlocks new spawn points for free exploration. Some starting locations are easy to find along main roads, while others are tucked away in harder-to-reach areas. Finding all of them is part of the exploration experience.
A second test map is also available, primarily for vehicle testing and experimentation. It provides a controlled environment for tuning builds without the variables of the main island.
The October 2025 update added two extra islands. Offroad Island is a large gravel map that rewards torque-heavy builds. Pulo Pangripta is a smaller paved racing island. The New Islands page covers terrain, recommended vehicles, and how these maps fit next to Pulau Mahkota.
Hidden treasures
Career mode hides treasure chests across the island that do not appear in the tech tree or creative mode. These treasures only spawn during career play, and chest icons appear on the map during free run sessions. The Treasure Locations page has a detailed guide to every known chest.
Some treasures are easy to reach — sitting on roadsides or in open fields. Others require creative vehicle builds to access. A chest on top of a rock tower, for example, might need a vehicle with climbing ability, a ramp, or a helicopter-style build to reach. Part of the fun is engineering a solution.
Hidden colors
Paint colors are scattered across the island as collectible pickups. Finding a color unlocks it permanently for car customization in the garage. Like treasures, hidden colors only spawn in career mode — they do not appear in the tech tree or creative mode.
The Color Locations page tracks every known color pickup. Some are in plain sight along roads, while others are hidden in terrain features or require specific vehicle capabilities to reach.
Collecting all colors is an achievement in itself and gives you the full palette for customizing your vehicles. The variety of colors ranges from standard finishes to rare and unusual shades that show off your exploration dedication.
Exploration tips
Use free run mode to explore without race pressure. Free run lets you drive anywhere on the island at your own pace, and it is the best mode for treasure and color hunting. Chest icons appear on the map during free run, making it easier to locate nearby treasures.
Build an exploration vehicle optimized for reaching difficult terrain. A lightweight car with good ground clearance, all-terrain tires, and enough power to climb hills works well. You do not need top speed — you need versatility and the ability to reach places that race cars cannot.
Check elevated areas and unusual terrain features. The island designers placed collectibles in locations that reward curious explorers. Hilltops, tower bases, cliff edges, and isolated beaches are all worth checking.
Mark locations you cannot reach yet. Some treasures require parts or build techniques you have not unlocked. Come back later with better equipment rather than wasting time on impossible approaches.
